    Default trouble with itunes

basically, my iphone (3gs 4.2.1.JB) was synced to my laptop when it was on win 7. but now i have put OS X onto it. and now, itunes will recognize my iphone but will not transfer anything over to my iphone.

i have enabled home sharing, i have authorized my laptop and it still wont transfer anything over. but i can play music in itunes from my iphone. i do not want to sync my phone to this version of itunes, as it would delete everything off my iphone.

any suggestions on what i can do?

What are you trying to save? Use a program called share pod to copy all your music off your iPhone. You should be able to transfer all your apps.. If not redownload them for free again.

thanks for the suggestion. and i'll give share pod a go. as i hate iTunes.

but thats not my issue. itunes will not put any songs, podcasts etc onto my iphone. i have synced the iphone to itunes, itunes can play the content thats on my phone, it just wont put stuff onto my phone.
