What desktop do you recomend me?

what happens is that within the next 2 weeks I am planning to buy an apple computer but the truth I am very aware what is the best addition I do not want a laptop now I want a desktop but have read that there are mac mini and imac and mac pro plus os x leopard snow leopard most operating systems and there is comfucion my other thing is that I do not want to spend over 1500 on it or that you recommend me to that computer and operating system? These are questions that have no clear help give me your opinions and decide and yes the English is not my primary language I am learning just hope that you will understand me a little better thanks have good day

I think he's trying to decide between a MacBook and Mac desktop.

For under $1500, I think you'd be better off going with a MacBook... It has awesome battery life and portability and will most likely do everything you need it to... Looks like English might not be your first language, so if you could reiterate a bit, that might help.

Why is this in OSX86 discussion?

For what it's worth I'd get a MacBook, but that's only because I prefer laptops over desktop set ups.

Just go to the Apple store, they are paid to help you. Just be sure to find someone that isn't trying to squeeze every penny out of you.

For what its worth, i recommend an iMac. Simple to hook up, and simple to maintain. Not to mention it takes up almost no space.
