Show off your Hackint0sh

I got inspired by macciti's thread on a Hackint0sh'd Toshiba http://www.modmyi.com/forums/chit-ch...205-s5804.html

I fiddled around with my spare Dell Latitude 820 series (2 GB RAM, 2.8 Ghz Duo Core, Nvidia display, Broadcom 4311 Wireless - Dell 1390 WLAN Mini-Card) to successfully Hackint0sh it.

If you are seeking Dell-specific Hackint0sh suggestions, please feel free to ping me OR see my reply in macciti's thread (link above). After 22 installs and 20 sleepless hours, I kind of feel proud of my Hackint0sh.

Here's a Hackint0sh show off now It would be nice to see what kinna hackint0sh other members at MMi are working with

ASUS N4L-VM-DH, 1.5GB RAM () Intel Core Duo. Graphics on an Nvidia 7600GS; QE/CI enabled. i have a small Maxtor external HDD set up for Time Machine. It runs so smoothly and looks so nice; I love it.
I took two screenshots of my desktop; the bottom one is for one1.
The SD card for my camera is missing, so you'll all just have to trust me when I say it's a hackintosh.

I've been thinking about a Mac for awhile but dont really need another computer, Ive got a spare Dell 8300 and self built boxes sitting in my basement. This gives me inspiration for a new project.

I got a USB HDD as my hackintosh PC. The only way you know what it is, is by the Apple sticker on it. :P

I think that building a Hackintosh is a pretty good gateway drug into buying a real Mac some day. I'd eventually love an 8-core Mac Pro...

It's had its good and bad days, but I installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on a Dell Inspiron 1501, and made 2 partitions, and then installed Leo4allv4 onto the other partition, from within 10 5 2, (ALL of the 10.5.4 dvds wont read the hard drive, or will boot right so i had to use alternative means) and then wiped the 10.5.2.

System has an AMD Turion X2 64 bit CPU @ 1.6ghz
1.5GB DDR2 533 RAM
60GB hard drive (the os x one anyway, i have an 80gb for windows)
ATI Xpress 1150 (This is the only thing that DOESN'T work... no QE for me.. =(((
Broadcom brcm43xx chipsit for Wi-Fi
STAC9200 Sigmatel audio (patched with AppleHDA patcher)

Running perfectly =) with the exception of no Quartz Extreme anyway...

Glad to see the hackint0sh community comming to MMi
(Hehe, running a hackint0sh is a good way to get any new pwnage app before all the windows users have to wait for winpwn )
