change background of sms and email etc

is there a prog or app to change the background coulour or maybe place an image on the phone book, sms and email etc etc

thats easy jus jailbreak then download winterboard then themes u can change any icon graphic u want

I do not think it is too important to to apply. Let me know whether it affects the other settings or not. I do not need to make change in my settings.
