Default Program to convert audio files to .CAF??

Hey mod folks, i have a quick question, how do i take files that are audio and convert them to .CAF and .m4r files? I would like to start creating ringtones and sms sounds but need to convert to .m4r & .CAF, any programs that could help me with that?! Thanks folks!

iTunes... right click and convert to .aif , then rename to .caf
or convert to .aac then rename to .m4r

Remember, to change what files iTunes will convert to, goto Edit / Preferences / Import Settings.

That has an easy solution. It is itunes, by which you can easily convert all of the music files to your desired formats. Let me know if are having problem using it.

Itunes will do it as Simtech noted, if you open it in quicktime you can save as mp3, or (my favorite) use a program called audial hub, you will have to do some hunting to find it, but it is FANTASTIC along with visual hub for videos
