Can't upload ringtones
hi....i've been trying to upload ringtones to my iphone..
i already made the acc version...but the problem is that i can't change the .m4a to .m4r....
i write .m4r on the extension section but it still is .m4a
anybody help....

Are you sure you have the extensions showing?

Ok what im doing is this....i take the acc version i drop it on my desktop then right click on it i go to properties and in the extension box i put .m4r
i have 3.0.1
and i have windows vista

In your folder options, you have to have the extensions not hidden.

I know she is seeing extensions as I helped her yesterday with her jailbreak. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't she have to use a audio converter to accomplish this. I don't know for sure only what little I have read about converting these audio files.

Google iRinger, that.s the easiest way to make ringtones and it.s free. It sends them to iTunes and then you just sync them to the phone.

You can convert to .acc in iTunes. Then just rename to .m4r

i had the files showing and it still said .m4a....
but i downloaded iringer...it worked so kwine thank you for letting me know...i do appreciate it

There are many good converting applications. Try converting successfully with good converters. To get a good converter, you need to give time and find your desired one yourself.
