Having trouble with custom txt alerts

Hello all,

I am having trouble using custom sms alerts. Sometimes they won't play. A few of them, won't even play under the sounds -> settings -> text alert. Do I need some type of program to enable custom txt alerts? Or could it just be the file type I have been downloading? I think I may have gotten one to work, but I don't really like it and I don't remember where I got it from... Possibly here. This is driving me bonkers because the default txt alerts= lame and I'd like to be able to customize this alert! Thanks in adance for your assistance

The sounds half to be in .caf format in order to be compatible. If you need instructions do a search for "custom sms tones" in the search bar.

click on my signature, for having customs sms tones for different contacts, at the beggining, it will guide you through getting a tone exactly as you want it, so it will work with winterboard or simply replacing them via SSH. You use the same method.
