I'm new to this stuff. I got a touch 2nd gen and its jailbroken and I wanted to know how can I make my own text on the lock screen? Sorry if this was posted somewhere or I am in the wrong board.

use winterboard

make a folder that looks like this Theme/Bundles/com.apple.springboard/en.lproj/

then on your phone using diskaid, go to system/library/privateframeworks/springboard.app/en.lproj
inside there u will have a .strings file.... drag it to your desktop and open it and change the text where it says (slide to unlock) then save it and put it in your en.lproj folder in ur theme.

now in diskaid go to library/themes and drag the folder that you made into it, then in winterboard activate that theme and it should change

NOTE: the en.lproj is a lowercase L not an uppercase i

I used SSH and I can't find springboard.app/en.lproj.

I'm sorry but I still don't get it. I don't see that folder at all. Im using Winterboard if that matters at all.
