REQ: Custom Boot Logo PLEASE!!
Can anyone convert this properly to work with Pwnage Tool in Mac?
I have tried and tried, to no avail using Photoshop, but Pwnage keeps telling me it is the wrong png.
I do not know what else to do, but as far as I can see I have made the file properly.
I have attached a JPG that can be converted.
Please and many thanks to anyone that can help me.

Yes it does, IF the logo is correct to begain with... But if the image is to big a file size (in kb's) it won't load it to your phone...
Now with that said... I can most likely fix it but...... The image will not be the best, seems that Apple got wise to us changing the boot logo and on their latest firmware update beefed up the restrictions on the kb size it will accept as a boot image. But it still can be done, all tho what it boils down to is; the more that’s in the image the less detail you’ll get.
Here you go...Last edited by E-Dragon; 01-03-2009 at 06:34 PM.

I have a custom logo that does the same thing to me. It worked great with an older version of Winpwn but now that I have a Mac, it gives me the same error message that you are getting. It works fine with Logo Me though. Just reinstalled it today as a matter of fact.
FWIW, I noticed that this generation of both Quickpwn and Pwnage (for 2.2) seem to want a very small png file, like under 20kb. The old logos work great with LogoMe.
If I've helped you, you can help me by clicking on that Thanks button.

Yea they knocked it down a few kb's.. The max is around 56kb now, before it was 64.5kb
Hmm I stand corrected, it is working fine with LogoMe... Must of been some issue with LogoMe when 2.2 first came out becase all my old boot images wouldn't work with LogoMe I kept getting "image to big" with it, but now I don't.. Starnge.....
Well then, try this....Last edited by E-Dragon; 01-03-2009 at 06:59 PM.
