Getting photos off of Iphone
Not the camera roll.
My friend has an iphone it is still running 1.1.1 he has since rebooted his computer and didn't back up his photos. He how ever still has them on his iphone it is around 1200 photos so emailing them 1 by 1 would take forever. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Just plugging it into a pc doesn't do the trick? I am always asked if I want to pull photos off the iPhone whther I plug into a PC or Mac..

I once prayed to God for an iPhone, but quickly found out He didn't work that way...so I stole an iPhone and prayed for His forgiveness.

Not sure what you meant by that but he is on a pc how ever I have a mac. Either way it would only pull up your camera roll to be able to pull it off. He was able to ssh it to get the music off but the photos would only pull his camera roll

don;t know what to tell you... all my photos come up (not just camera roll) when I plug my iPhone into either my mac or pc and I am asked if I want to "take picture of my digital camera"

It's very simple. Just plug in the iPhone, then go to spotlight and type in 'Image Capture' use that to download all the pics at once.

When you plug it into a PC or Mac, you will either get an extra drive letter; say you normally have C,D,E drives, whn you connect your phone a "F" or what ever the next letter would be, should pop up UNLESS!! you already have removable drive letters on your system and it is/was assigned to it.. Either way it's on your system (when it's connected) as a "Removable Drive" or as a camera just cick on it and you'l see all those pics..
If you are still confused on where it's at: bring up a window that shows ALL your drives THEN plug in the phone and see what changes....
He's talking about connecting the phone to a computer via the USB interface cable...Last edited by E-Dragon; 12-24-2008 at 08:08 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

I think I understand what he is asking. Everyone here is right.... almost.
When you plug your iPhone into your computer it asks you if you want to copy over your photos, but it only copies over the photos in the Camera Roll directory. I have around 12 other photo directories on my iPhone and it won't copy any of the photos in any of those directories.
With that said, I have no idea how to copy those photo directories other than using iPhone PC Suite, which I don't like using.

True, but if you just use the "explore" option instead of the camera wizard it should bring up all folders, no?
