If you have a theme you like to use just swap the dock you like with the new one and SSH the new one into your theme folder in: /private/var/stash/Themes.****
Or SSH and replace these files SBDockBG2.png,SBDockMask.png,SBDockBG.png
in: /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app
If you do it this way BACKUP your old docks before replacing them

Is this accessible through the customize app then or what? I can't figure how I get get certain themes enabled .Sometimes I install a new theme via Cydia and then go to my Winterboard and it's not there, I don't understand what I am doing wrong?
Thanks.

Cydia could be installing them in some other folder, do a search for it, if you find it put it in /private/var/stash/Themes.******Also Winterboard needs its themes in a certian file structure to work, so make sure it is a winterboard theme... If it isn't or your not sure..SSH one that does work off your phone and one that doesn't to compare them. If it isn't a .theme file you could delete the images in the file (of the one that does work) and replace them with the images of the one that doesn’t.. MAKE SURE that ALL the images are named correctly. Then rename the file (leaving the .theme extension) and SSH it back into the theme file..

SSH is a shell that will allow your PC to access files on your phone..
To SSH to your phone
In Cydia you’ll need to install (Do a search in Cydia for them)
OpenSSH
BSD Subsystem
Toggle SSH (recommended but not needed)
And A SSH client for your PC you can google some or use this free one
IF you have Wi-fi on a computer in your house, read THIS
If not, read THISand THIS
Ther are also plenty of YouTube vids out there on "how to"

E-Dragon,
Thanks for your time on this I do appreciate it. I' ve learnt so much here at MODMYI just from reading these forums. Thanks!!!!
When you say 'To SSH to your phone
In Cydia you’ll need to install (Do a search in Cydia for them)'
What am I searching for? What's the name of the app or utility I need is it just SSH?
Thanks, Adam
Also what's considered the best, most reliable client to do this?
I am a mac user not windows.Last edited by Icepecks; 01-13-2009 at 03:03 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Look for these 3 Apps..
1.) "OpenSSH"
2.) "BSD Subsystem"
3.) "Toggle SSH"
This last one is recommended, it allows you to close/turn off the port that the above two open, when you're not using it...
As for a good Mac client... Hmmmmm, I heard of a couple of them but can't recall the names, sorry.... I guess (Google and) just try some free ones and see what one you like, unless some other Mac users want to recommend (?)...Last edited by E-Dragon; 01-13-2009 at 07:14 PM.
