Well so far, in 2.2, the it seems Apple has restricted the the max file size for the boot screen down even farther ( I guess they have a problem with us replaing their boot logo ) It's looking like it has to be at least below 15k or even smaller That means either some very simple boot screems or making off the images and getting rid of the background That is.. If you want the boot to look good....
