Changing System Fonts iPhone 3G 2.0

I have been trying to figure out how to change the system font for about a week.

A guy on here by the name of BRINZEI was telling something about copying getting the custom font you want and taking the orginal font and copying the properties and simply name it HELVETICA, by using a program called FontLab.....But i just couldn't figure it out and I have so many font i want to convert and put on here for everyone to use.

I ran into a couple sites that give you fonts to replace in the following folder

/System/Library/Fonts/Cache/Helvetica.ttf

/System/Library/Fonts/Cache/HelveticaBold.ttf

Here are some sites by the way where you can download them:

gaurav’s rants » Blog Archive » NeoTech Custom Font for iPhone 2.0

One mod shy of a restore. — iPhoneskinning.com

http://www.modmyi.com/forums/file-mo...one-2-0-a.html

If any knows how to convert the fonts so they work on the iPhone please tell me and i will do the labor and convert and post them.

Thanks.

Excellent Share. The Neotech fonts are very cool and works well on 2.0.

As a friendly warning, DO NOT USE the 1.x files on your 3G or 2.0 Device. It will not boot up and you need a hard restore.

2.0 Files work perfectly.

Sorry to be OT but where did you get that Vodafone carrier icon? I can't find it anywhere. Can you hook me up?
