Sorry for new thread, but... background is killing me!
okay, 2 things have happened to me:
1. I get NO background when adding my background either with Menzana or iPhoneInterface
2. I used the default DisplayOrder.plist and the pictire shows up, but only half of it shows in the bottom left corner.
the only thing that I can think of is it has to be something in my DisplayOrder.plist but I really dont know. I have never done anything like this before
And now I'm addicted and want to change the entire phone! (thanks guys!
)
Right now I have no icon.png, just black background, and a dock and icons made by you guys. I have my DisplayOrder how I want it. I have the icons on my background to match my DisplayOrder. I will post my DisplayOrder.plist and my image I made and maybe you guys can figure out what it is I'm doing wrong?!

What method are you using to install the bg?

I think he means whos method did you use. Are you doing it with a full bg and whipping out all the icons or doing it in strips like loring or mine that replaces one icon to make the bg while preserving the stock icons.
I think i may see a problem. It seems like you have 14 icons in your menu, which will push the demoapp.app a bit off
if you want to add or move your bg, if your trying to replace the demoapp. you counter with move space in the opposite direction. so if you want to move your bg up, then put more canvas space on the bottom, and it will push it up. if you want to push it to the left, put added canvas size to the right.
see if that helps.ARTHURSDOMAIN

hmmmm do you mean that my "black space" on my .png file needs to be bigger? I only did it the way I did to the templates that you all have made...? Im really sorry about all of the questions but now I cant even get the picture to show up at all? Is it the DisplayOrder.plist? Like I said when I changed it back to the original, it at least showed up half way...
