    Default Update iPhone firmware without restoring?

    Is there any solution yet to upgrade the firmware- (say with iPwner) without deleting all the music, and apps/settings from Installer?

    I don't think you quite get the concept here. FW wraps around the entire flash drive. Loading new FW loads a completely new system on the flash. If you didn't load a new FW you wouldn't have an upgrade.
