How can I boost the volume on my iphone?
Hi. Is there an app I can download to boost my phone's volume? At the moment I can barely hear the ringtones, let alone people's voices during a call.
Also, is there any way of using ringtones as sms message alerts?

Thanks. That sounds good. But what do you mean by "add?" do I go to that address from my phone or PC? then what happens when I get there? Is there an app on that page?

Hi. There is no "adding sources" section.
So how doI add the source? And what happens when I have done so?
Sorry to be a pain...

Read post 5 after you press EDIT top right of installer page... the ADD key will be displayed in top left of screen, press that then add the source.

Ok. I did it. Added the source. Added the volume boost. Magic, except that when I restarted my phone (as per instructions) it was EXACTLY the same volume...
Anything else I can do?

By all the way, I guess you mean shut it off from the button at the top of the phone.
I did so, without any effect on the volume. Or is it possible to shut it off further, ie battery out, or something else I am missing?

hold the home button and the top button at the same time, untill the phone turns off

hey Barryley herez a solution for ya >>> D best way 2 increase volume on ur iphone (1st gen)... First of all i would like to tell u d location of ur loudspeaker ... ok if u look down ur iphone there are tiny holes on ur left and right side >>> ok now on ur left side is d loudspeaker n right is mic. >>>
Now all u need to do is get a needle and start porking into ur left hand side of the phone ... let me tell u wat u r doing by dis >>> u r making holes in2 d grill which protects d speaker ... dont get scared nothing will happen 2 ur speaker by this ... keep 1 thing in mind make holes gently n whilst making holes u shud feel that u have reached a certain level ... then just blow those holes n u r done >>> u will observe a drastic change in d volume >>> 100% more thatz my guarantee >>> i hope i have helpd u in d bst possible way >>>
Now all u need 2 do is hot d thankz button >>>
