Im not sure what your asking about, nor what you said in general. and unlocking and jailbreaking are two seperate actions.

i have the same error. I try to turn my iPhone on. It stays for ever in the Apple logo and have nothing else on screen. It is interesting since it still has connection to the PC (i can extract photos, or use the iBrkr), but nothing comes up on screen.
Can you please advice/help?

Did you guys mess with your Springboard.app? If its stuck on the Apple logo, that means its booting, but it can't start Springboard.
Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.

I'm with Eurisko on this one. Sounds like the springboard app is acting up. If you DID mess with it, I hope you made yourselves a back-up.
