no sound from keyboard clicks

so i restored my iphone back to original settings and used ZiPhone 2.6 to unlock, but even though i have my keyboards click sound on, i get no sound. is my iphone screwed? the speaker works for phone calls and speaker phone. any ideas? update--- i used iliberty+ instead of ZiPhone ans still no click sounds
