Was Apple:0 Me:1 now Apple:1 Me:1
Unlocked first iphone - was on such a high being one of the first in Aus.
Just ordered another 2 and found out about the new firmware heheh
I know how to restore (when they arrive here) and get the wifi youtube etc going but I take it the simunlock won't be able to work.
Is there any chance the iphones I've ordered come with the old firmware already??? <fingers crossed> or is it best to just unlock it, and wait till the masters work out how to get it going for phone calls again?
Thanks again for everyone's great work and input..
Time to bring it back to Apple:1 Me:2 :-)

You can downgrade the firmware to 1.0.2

Thanks for your reply...
Yeh I gathered that from the forums, which is great.
The thing I'm after is the ability to make calls as well..
From what I've read, some band-thingy needs to be downgraded (not yet hacked) in order to use the phone functions...
Hopefully won't be too long..

Will give it a go when I get the phones...
I assume after I do this, I then resume and carry out the normal 4 part unlock/ activate tutorial (MAC os x) as i've done previously?
MANY thanks once again :-)
Just noticed this is for windows (with ibrickr etc)
Any changes I can make to make it mac friendly???
I've carried out the 4 part tutorial and worked flawlessly.. now if I can integrate this patch, will be even better.
