    Default iPh6s Camera Quality
Has anyone noticed a poorer camera quality with the iPh6s?

I was at a concert the other day with my wife who has my old iPh6.

We both took a few pictures of the same person and her pictures came out 100% better then the ones I took with the 6s.

I turned off the Live feature to see if maybe it was that but there was a night and day difference in the picture quality.

We both mimicked each other in respect to the zoom tapping the screen to get the contrast to adjust but mine were out of focus, and most were whiteout looking.

Now I already replaced my initial iPh6s for this reason thinking there was something wrong with focus or contrast but its the same with this one as well.

I have been very happy up until this point with he iPhones picture quality and till the iPh6s felt that the cameras have improved each generation.

Is it just me, am I missing something?

My sister aNd I actually did notice the difference my ip6 pictures looked so much clear and the video blew the ip6s out the park it's safe to say she wasn't happy about that.

My camera on my 6s is definitely better than my 6. The Live Photos feature does put the quality a bit down though so you have to turn that off if you want better pics.

From what I can see the iPh6s there is a contrast differences between the iPh6 and the iPh6s.
I took both to a concert and snapped pictures on both side by side within seconds of each other and its very noticeable.
At least to me it is when I and my wife views the pictures of the same thing over and over again.

I did think to turn the Live photo option off but it did not effect the difference in quality.

    Thank you for your feedback.

Maybe its just their low light setting that is making the difference then in the pics you described. Maybe there is a setting where this can be adjusted, or maybe Apple just got it wrong for how the 6S responds in low light situations.

For video on a 6s make sure you up the quality in settings, whether it be 1080p at 60fps or 4K at 30fps. The default is 1080p at 30fps so it doesn't record at its highest quality right out of the box.

I definitely thought the contrast was worse on my 6 Plus from my 5s, but I haven't tried comparing the 6s Plus yet. I also saw a video about the 6 having worse contrast but nothing about the 6s until now.
