Problem restoring from 1.1.1. to 1.0.2

Im having a bit of a problem restoring the firmware from 1.1.1 to 1.0.2. If anybody could help me that would be great.

So i did the whole plug into itunes, power off and power on show it shows "please connect to itunes" but the icon is different from before (the yellow triangle) this time its this image...


so then i restored it using firmware 1.0.2 and got the error msg
ran apptapp and this is what happened...






i then ran apptapp again and it was stuck in "booting iphone in recovery mode"




any suggestions on what i should do? thank you in advance!

I have the same problem, I have yet not been able to downgrade to be able to unlock my phone

... same problem here, a few days ago.

After several tries to downgrade the iPhone to 1.0.2 the same "connect to iTunes" symbol was on the iPhone. Whatever we did: no other sign or symbol appears on the iPhone display. No "Activate" no "Slider" no "Triangle" ....

We've disconnected the iPhone and leave it as it is from dusk till dawn ;-) . The next morning, we've connected the iPhone to iTunes and - surprise surprise - everythings works as the workaround describes!

I don't know the secret, but maybe the "from dusk till dawn" thing will work for you?

Happened to me also. I got it work finally though using a slightly different method.

I was watching the video before but these instructions are a little different and worked the first time for me.

Exactly same problem here!!

Using XP and itunes 7.4

any possible solutions??? never saw the yellow triangle!!
