Default iPhone behaving randomly and unresponsive screen
hi ill try to involve everything in my problem so people can maybe dismiss possible faults ect

2 days ago my iphone stopped responding to touch down a invisible 1cm strip on the right side of the phone. then the day after it started behaving erratically and doing things on its own as if i was pressing the screen really fast with my eyes closed. then suddenly it went back to normal for about 30 seconds. now the unresponsive part is even bigger and i can no longer open apps on the right side of the homescreen. sometimes i can just put my finger near the phone and it registers as me touching it. it randomly goes back to working order for a few minutes on regular occasions

resets and restarts make no differents

restore as new device does not work

no water damage and no recent drops althought it has been dropped in the past and does get banged in my pocket

    i have no apple warrenty

    iphone 4s running 7.0.4

Sounds hardware related, likely digitiser. Is it still under warranty? I'd guess not if iPhone 4s. You've a couple of options. 1. Apple store to fix it 2. Fix it yourself - see ifixit for replacement and instructions
