    Default iPhone 5 DFU.
    Hey guys,

Some of you may remember me, i used to be very up-to date with this kind of thing, but
I've been out of the scene for a while unfortunately,

I've got a iPhone 5 with a broken home button that needs to be restored,
is there any way to enter DFU on the i5 without the home button?

    Yeah I'm sorry, bad joke.
I recommend fixing the button. There are repair kits for sale.

Wait, for a restore to a fresh stock firmware, why not connect it to iTunes and hit restore ?

Yeah i do repairs myself (have a small scale business) it isn't my device, customer brought it to me, he didn't want to spend the extra after fixing the screen and it's disabled after his 2 year old got her hands on it, so it seems he's out of luck and will have to pay the extra now haha.

    Thanks though Alfroggy.

It won't accept the device as far as i know due to having the lock...

Oh well, might see if the old battery reset method will do anything on it.
