I attached a couple of pics; one from ifixit.com and the other is my broken one.

If its attached to the main board you likely can't repair it. You'll probably need a new main board. Does it affect the phone working?

These are flex cables, part of a circuitry that can be removed from the board. They are not built in, I don't think. I haven't put the phone back yet. So can't tell.

These connectors crewed to the frame. Once I unscrewed them, these cables moved with the screws and broke. So fragile.

I don't doubt it. Probably why the seller has sold 83 of them!

I have been looking for a tutorial or youtube video how to replace this cable, but unsuccessful. Does anyone know there is one out there? I have repaired several 4 and 4s's. But this my 1st I5 I have to deal with.

It looks flat where those gold connections are. That kind of makes me think maybe it's soldered down, and the reason there are visible gold connections on top is because that's where you'd need to apply heat to make the solder melt underneath. It's a total guess, but I don't know how else that could possibly be attached.
