Default Help with iOS 7 Upgrade (From iOS 7 Jailbreak)
    Hey guys,

So I previously jailbroke my iPhone to get iOS 7 but now when I try to update to Apple's version of iOS 7 the update doesn't show up, it won't let me downgrade, and it says I'm on the latest version of iOS 7.0

    Anyone able to help?

I am on iOS 7.0 it says, and I have been since about August 20th.

Apple's servers are underwater from the flood of traffic they're receiving today. The only remedy now is patience.

If your JB 6.1.2 and want to update to 7, should you uninstall all your cydia tweaks first before updating? I mean because once you update to ios7, you can't access them so won't they be sitting on the file system in the "other" space as reported by iTunes wasting space?

If you want to update to iOS 7, you should do a DFU restore instead of an upgrade to get there (which will have the same effect, but is even cleaner from a filesystem perspective).

Thanks good info. I tried that but I just get error 3004 unknown error from iTunes. I took it out of DFU and will continue to run 6.1.2 jailbroken for now. Seems like ios7 is not ready for prime time. I browsed the apple official forums and its riddled with upgrade problems and complaints from people wanting to go back. Lots of empty responses over there shows how apple really could care less.

I'll keep the jailbreak for now and just get a theme if I want to make it look like ios 7. Maybe I'll try again in a few days.
