Depending on the condition and age of the handset, this is a very fair price IMO.

I'd advise you locate an unlocking service if you haven't done so already and unlock the phone for any GSM carrier, may bump up that resale value a fair amount with a little additional investment.

I sold mine on ebay, unlocked and UDID registered 16Gb iPhone 5 for $435, so I think $500 for your 64Gb is not too much. Unlock that iPhone, register that iPhone UDID with apple and put it to sale on eBay, I bet you, you can sell that iPhone on eBay for $700 or more.

I have seen it on eBay , average price for unlocked i5 64gb is $570.00.
My opinion, i5 is good enough minus the fingerprint n the 64bits architecture. The RAM for i5S is still 1gb.

but remember, ebay takes a cut of that, and so does paypal...

I would agree with Orby, that depending condition, if its in prestine condition, I would ask more, at least $550

Do not sell if Jailbroken. Hold on to it. Unlock it thru an online service. You will find that there are not very many iPhone 5, Jailbroken and unlocked for sale anywhere.
The price you want is much too low. Use your head.
If someone wants the latest iPhone JB and Unlocked,
you can ask for a much higher price as the supply is low
and the demand keeps rising. Good luck.

Just make sure to say in description "people with low to 0 feedback do NOT BID - contact me first".. The worst pain is people with no eBay feedback bidding/winning and then not paying. You can cancel bids too. The iPhone selling game on eBay is tricky sometimes.
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!
