Default Linux server alternative to iCloud for syncing data Calendar/Contacts/Reminders/etc. ?
    Hi,

I'm running my own Linux server in the web and looking into using it for syncing my Mac and iPhone data beyond Email (running IMAP already since years). Priorities are Calendar, Contacts & Reminders. Bookmarks, Notes & Find iPhone optional nice to have.

    Anyone did this before?

    Thanks!
    Dirk

Calendar can be done via CalDAV, same for Contacts and CardDAV. Reminders are integrated into CalDAV. Exchange ActiveSync (if you're feeling... cheeky) can probably handle all of these things plus push e-mail. Notes can be handled via IMAP. Bookmarks and Find My iPhone are proprietary Apple-only I do believe.
