hello guys, i recently put my iphone in recovery mode, its 6.1.2 and i tried to update it.
the problem is, it doesn't and no program can detect it, only itunes so any program that could kick it out can't.
when i hit the update iphone button in itunes it updates right until 95% and then exits with (-1).
i tried pretty much everything from pressing buttons to all the jailbreak softwares to exit and even change the host.
i would appreciate any help

Have ya tried putting the phone in dfu mode? And then try to restore it?

how do i do that? home button + power button and then release the power button? i tried that but it just starts to the same screen again..
it actually loads about 3-4 times the recover iphone firmware wich is 100% on the iphone screen bar to load, but then it just exits and goes straight to the same screen wich shows the itunes symbol with the cable.
the error says: "Restoring error! An unknown error occurred (-1)"
also i use the newest version of itunes..

Since you already have the latest iTunes, try the following:
1. Download iREB from hi8sn0w.com
2. Temporarily disable any antivirus software
3. Connect iPhone directly to USB port on the CPU (don't use any USB hub)
4. Exit iTunes if it's automatically launched
5. Run iREB; click on pwned DFU and follow instructions
6. Exit iREB
7. Run iTunes, it should detect that the iphone is in recovery mode
8. click on restore button then wait.
Note that you iPhone will be restored to latest firmware (6.1.4) and it's not jailbreakable.
