2k1 thanks for telling me about lockinfo but that is not what i am looking for......let me explain this more simple incase im confusing people......insted of me hitting the power button to shut off the screen i used to have an app called quicklock to shut off the screen.....purpose of this app was so u dont kill your power button from clicking on it 40 times a day....where the icon u just touch it and it would shut off your screen like hitting the power button for a second.....hope this helps....thanks
