I was recently having a discussion with a group of my friends, each of us someone who has been hanging on every word that people like MuscleNerd and Pod2G have been saying regarding the iOS 6.1 jailbreak.

However, someone mentioned the fact that under Canada's copyright laws, all of the exemptions regarding the tampering with digital locks are rendered null if you have to, well, tamper with digital locks in order to achieve it.

One of those exemptions is the one regarding software interoperability, which is what gives us the ability to freely jailbreak our iDevices at will.
While I may be getting into a fuss over nothing, I would very much appreciate any knowledge into the situation.
