    Hi Chaps,
    I have the following a 3gs , (version 5.1.1,) But in my 'About settings it shows (Modem firmware 06.15.00, What do I actually have ? I think it is 5.1.1 ALSO in my about settings. (J/B with Absinthe)
    However ,Apple is requesting an update to 6.0.1 OR 6.1.2, inc Quicktime. I have been told NOT to do this as it will undo my jailbreak!!!

    Unsure of what to do I thought I'd put my question to you guys who actually know.
    Can you assist?

    Simple, don't update. in iTunes uncheck option automaticaly check for updates and that's it. If you have Cydia, install from it tweak called noota Badge, to get rid off that badge on settings icon.
