Phone won't turn on

Hey guys, need some help with my wife's iPhone 4. She was listening to music and her phone just shut off and wont power on now. She just pulled it off the charger after charging all night so it's not the battery.
I've tried doing a reboot with the power & home button and that didn't do anything.
When I plug it into the computer the phone doesn't show up.
It's an iPhone 4 32 GB, not JB. Please let me know if anyone has any idea what's going on or something I can try. Thanks

Try to put it in to DFU mode and connect it to iTunes. If it shows up fine, if not, than I am afraid, it's a hardware issue.

Just plugged into computer and tried putting into DFU mode. Nothing happens

Any other suggestions? Saw somewhere something about taking phone apart and unplugging battery and plugging back in to restart it.
