iPhone 4S Cellular data turns on automatically
I just checked and the cellular data switch in my iPhone 4S is ON. So i turn the switch off and lock my phone. I immediately unlock the phone and go back to Settings -> General -> Network and i see the cellular data switch back to ON. I have no idea why it is going back to ON, on its own.
How to find root cause and solution ?

Edit: Looks like iCaughtu pro was enabling data when wifi connection was not available.

Did u try looking at the settings of iCaughtU Pro and turn off "Force 3G" it actually turns on the 3G whenever theres no internet access. Have u done that??

Hmm.. I've run into several post/thread that have this kinda problem and somehow it did also mention iCaughtU Pro auto enabling cellular even if u have it turned off. Take a look at these posts
http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1460401
Hopefully it helps. Otherwise if the app is really important and u need it yet worried of your mthly bill. I suggest find an alternate iCaughtU Pro.

I saw the thread, it has only one mention of the icaughtu pro. And yes there is some method mentioned. What i have found myself is that if i turn on wifi for some time (even if there is not actual wifi connection/pairing, i can turn off the cellular data off and it stays that way, then after some time i turn off wifi and the cellular data stays that way until the next time i enter a wrong passcode which sort of wakes that tweak and it enables the EDGE data when no internet is available.

I recently had the same problem with my iPhone 4. I removed iCaughtU and a few other packages because I didn't know what was causing it. My data usage skyrocketed to something around 400-600MB a day and my battery life was **** as well. Anyone know why iCaughtU would be using that much data?
