How do I know my AT&T iPhone 4S is still carrier unlocked after I restore it?

So I filled out the web form from AT&T and was given the carrier unlock for my iPhone 4S. I used SAM to deactivate the phone then plugged it into iTunes and the message came up saying something along the lines of "Congratulations your iPhone is now officially unlocked". I did it this way so i wouldn't lose my jailbreak and have to restore. Well, now that I have my iPhone 5 and am selling my 4S, i want to restore my 4S back to 5.1.1 like it's currently on so its fresh and wiped clean for the new buyer. I used redsn0w to stitch my 5.1.1 firmware. So when I follow the redmondpie tutorial on how to restore it back to the same 5.1.1 again w/the stitched firmware, will i have to do anything special to it afterward to unlock it again or how can i tell its unlocked still? I only have an AT&T sim card, so I can't put any other one in there to test. Thanks!

Once is factory unlocked, it is always unlocked and you don't need to do anything.
