    Default iPhone 5 Activation
I can't seem to find anything on this but when I get my phone on Friday do I have to go to an Apple Store/AT&T Store to get it activated with a SIM card or will it come with it?

I looked for this info too and could not find anything concrete even on Apple's site. My best guess is that it should but knowing Apple, it may take more effort like you stated and having to go to your carrier or Apple.
    Hopefully someone will know.
Me, going with my son to stand in line, so, if needed I'll get one for his phone then, me, I'm a T-Mobile user so it's cutting one or getting one from T-Mo when they release them next month.

Maybe it has a tiny SIM Card to save more place, smaller than other iPhones. you can find many iPhone 5 Parts for this website, such iPhone 5 Rear housing, LCD and Digitizer Assembly, Front Panel...

Wait, what? I know that the iPhone 5 will use nano SIM, but I'm trying to find out whether or not it will actually ship with it (I don't see how since it probably has to be activated) or if you will need to physically visit an Apple/AT&T store when your phone is shipped to get the card.

I mean, I guess I could cut my micro into a nano if it doesn't. lol

^ ^^ the question wasn't what type of sim, it was if it came with the new iPhone. But thanks for the input.

I ordered mine from AT&T and they sent me a email with a link to activate it. It should be here in the next hour or so according to the tracking number.

Just got mine that I ordered from Apple.com. If you ordered it on your regular account then once you turn it on it gives a message stating that it's been set up for phone number xxx.xxx.xxxx and if it's your correct number you just put in your zip and last four of your social and it activates in a couple of minutes.
