Default way to save a file version of a tweak before upgrading?
I'm currently using a earlier version of dashboard x and before I upgrade to version 2.3 is there any way to save the current version using ifile(or install a previous version in cydia). The reason is I upgraded on my iPad (2.1) and favouite contacts or jukebox doesn't work, thx

The .deb file is most likely gone...I'm not aware of a way.. Maybe dev can send dev with issues... ..I think u can do that with iFile, but u have to find the .deb before u respring...I think that's what I've read...if u've resprung since install its most likely gone...

Ok, I haven't upgraded yet. If I cannot revert to the previous version then I will not upgrade.

Hi, I use DebianSaverLaunchDaemon, it saves the debs in Directory
/var/mobile/Documents/DebianSaver/ just reinstall the tweak if you want a current one. As you say, it is very useful when an updated tweak doesn't work and you would like to revert back to the previous version instead of waiting for the next update. It would be handy if previous versions were kept in Cydia. Here are some previous versions I have had to revert to to get things working again, they include PkgBackup, Clockify, IconSupport, SpeakEvents, Forecast and Jukebox.
