Have you done a hard reset ? Hold both buttons until it reboots.

If this doesn't work, you should be able to restore from recovery mode, not when iphone has a glowing apple logo.
If you cannot restore, give me your itunes error.

Do a recovery mode > Hold down both button until the screen goes off and let go the power button but keep holding the home button and at the same time plug in your iphone until itunes cable logo on screen comes on. Now do your restore from recovery mode.

Make sure you have the latest itunes installed.

I have seen this issue before. If it goes blank when you unplug it, odds are its a faulty battery. Try replacing the battery.

Make sure your hosts file is not pointed towards cydia server. Do you have Tiny Umbrella installed ?

It's not pointing to cydia...and now I left on charger for about 5 min...it went back to my lockscreen but no service and no 3G or wifi when I swiped to open it said plug into iTunes on like a grey backdrop one that I never saw before...I removed it from the charger and the screen just went black again
