I have several iPhone 4's (not 4S's) in my family that I have JB and Unlocked or bought unlocked and am using on our local carrier.
The question I have is this. If we try to connect with Face Time using the phone numbers it always fails. If we use our Email address contact (which is our Apple I.D.) it connects every time. That works fine for us cause we know whats going on. The issue is when friends of ours try to Face Time with us we need to explain to them to add our Email address to thier contact and use it.
How can we get around this and have our Face Time connect with our phone number?
Info only, putting our phone number in the Face Time setup "you can be reached for video calls at:" is not an option. It only has an entry for Email and will not accept phone numbers as they are not a valid Email format.
Thanks in advance,

well its because your catalyst converts are fried and you need to wash them in bubbling hot water! Then dry them off with a air gun. then you need to take it down to your local electronic shop and have them blast it with the special plasma beams.
If that doesn't work post in the right forum

Phone to phone is the only way I have tried to use it.
Funny thing is if we start the call (from our non-approved carrier) Face Time will connect with any approved carriers iPhone by phone number. If someone tries to Face Time with us, from any carrier, approved or not, they have to use our Email address for the Face Time contact or the connection will fail.Badges?
