I have my iPhone 4 with tethered JB and on iOS 5.0 (if i remember correctly). It was jailbroken because i wanted to unlock it using Ultrasn0w as the baseband is 1.59.00. But now i have got the AT&T official unlock so was thinking of updating the iOS to 5.1.1. I wanted confirmation whether this particular version has the 3G On/off switch as i have now in 5.0 ?? I know it has been removed in iOS 6 (which i don't want to update to anyways).

Yes it does, if jailbroken, you can also use SBSettings to toggle.

Or may be you meant that it is there in 5.1.1 as well and i can ALSO use SBS settings if jailbroken.
I read somewhere (just now) that it is carrier specific. For AT&T it has been removed but not for others. Mine is an AT&T iPhone 4 which has now been officially unlocked by AT&T and i am using it on Tmobile, so need to know whether i will have the switch or not.

Yes, it will be there. I also have a Factory Unlocked on T-Mo, no worries. It will be there, jailbroken or not.
