iphone keyboard stuck
After jail breaking 5.1.1 my iPhone keyboard appears, it takes up half the screen and I can't get rid of it except by rebooting. It happens when I use text messaging. Anyone have this problem? It was difficult when only tethered jb was available. iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1

I had the same problem, it was a Cydialer issue with something? By making Cydialer the second and NOT the first in the Cydget list cures the problem. The keyboard would pop up sometimes after texts or using Messages+
I could get the fault to occur every time by making Cydialer the first in the Cydget list and then purchase an App Store app. When the keyboard pops up, you press the lock button and unlock... Results in keyboard stuck on screen.
Now with a way to replicate the fault, I could start disabling tweaks to see what is was

thanks for feedback - will check it

From my experince the root cause is cydialer - confirmed.
however moving anouther feature (like welcom and not check it) will not cure the bug.
I still get the kbd locked, at much lowere frequency like once a week.
respring will release it.

To cure this I have Awayview my first Cydget and Cydialer my second. Both need ticking though.
I also emailed the author about this issue.

Its been 3 months and this problem still exists? I just bought CyDialer for my iPhone 4 running IOS 5.1.1
I suddenly started having this same problem. Respringing or Rebooting did not fix the problem. I had to remove CyDialer to fix it.
I have now reinstalled CyDialer and placed it second in the CyGet list. I only have one item actually checked in the CyGet list, so I don't know if this will work. I do hope I don't have to remove CyDialer permanently and get a refund. I hope they fix this app soon. 3 months is a long time for this to still exist.

Hi, you will need to tick your first Cydget for it to work. I use the AwayView as the first and Cydialer as the second. At least this way you can get to Cydialer with a single press of the home button.

I sent Jay Freeman an email today asking when this might be fixed. If I get an answer I will post it here.
