Probably RAM. Are you jail broken? If you are install sbsettings and weecloseapps. Sbsettings tells you how much RAM you have left and weecloseapps lets you close all the apps that are running in the background or held in memory. Works wonders

Thanks. But I usually close all my apps because I'm already bothered by open apps wasting my battery life. But it usually occurs when I'm texting. And when I check crashreporter it shows that it's my springboard that keeps on crashing.
