iPhone 4S - Downgrade from 5.1 to 5.0.1
Hey guys,
I have an AT&T iPhone 4S that I purchased off Craigslist and everything is working fine. The seller restored the phone just before selling it to me even though I had instructed them not to since it would update the firmware.. So anyway now I want to downgrade but I don't know if this person ever saved shsh blobs.. Hack I don't even know of the phone was ever jailbroken .. I cannot get in touch with the seller .. Is there anyway to find out and possibly recover those shsh blobs?? Thanks guys

If you don't have SHSH blobs you can't downgrade. You can run Tinyumbrella and check if you're lucky. Doubt it though.

hook up the iphone than turn on the redsn0w, try to downgrade it, when it get a point ask you for the shsh, you can point it to Cydia, and see how lucky you are.

May never know..
The person could have been smart and saved the blobs when it was signed and decided to restore to a stock firmware
Try tiny umbrella as mentioned
