    Default Wi-Fi sync not working
I have a jailbroken iPhone 4 iOS 5.0.1, I use a mac mini, and I have the latest version of iTunes. For the past two days iTunes won't detect my phone and I closed iTunes, restarted my computer, and even uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, and no luck. I need Wi-Fi sync because the syncing/charging cable that came with the phone doesn't work anymore. Please help.

so how are you suppose to sync to itunes without the charging cable?

you need to use a working charging cable to allow itunes to detect your iphone, otherwise it wont

You need to at least connect the phone once with the cable and check the box that says Sync this device over Wifi (or something along those lines). Then enable it at the phone's settings.

And sorry, should have guessed you were a girl by your nick hehe

you have to at least connect it once via cable and go to the SUMMARY tab of itunes, and select the checkbox for "Sync over Wi-Fi connection"
