Nope no problem at all factory is better because it's less steps ya have to do

Yeah...make sure u use ifaith n dump ur shsh blobs n create signed stitched IPSW with it so u can restore again to 5.0.1 when needed!!

That was just to downgrade...but no, nothing on the jailbreak will affect the unlock

Is there a simple way to jailbreak it as its already unlocked or just the normal steps?

Don't forget to look into creating that stitched signed ipsw of 5.0.1 otherwise next time u have to restore u will be forced to go to 5.1 and no current untethered JB..
Btw...that wasn't just to downgrade...
I'm a very big proponent of being able to stay where u want...
