Thread: iPhone 4s low in-call volume.

Just as of the last little while, when I am in a call I can barely hear the other person. My volume rocker is turned all the way up during the call. It is very frustrating as you can imagine. I am currently jb on 5.0.1. Would a restore and update to 5.1 fix this. I really don't want too as I will lose my jailbreak, and not guaranteed it will address the issue

Any spills on the device recently?

None at all. I take really good care of it.

I experienced that once, accidentally got some water on my phone while applying a screen protector. Guess my solution won't help you then...
Let's see, have you installed anything as of recent from Cydia?

Ive installed quite a few things from cydia in the last few weeks from tweaks to themes. I just wouldn't know where to start. Should I just remove them all and see where that gets me.

Yep that's the idea. Remove them one by one until you find the culprit. Or uninstall all of them first, see if the issue is resolved, then reinstall them one by one until you catch the one package that's causing the conflict.
I would do the latter, personally.

I'll give it a try, hopefully it is successful. 🙏

Let us know what you find out

Of you have sbsettings installed, you can disable them all & them activate them one by one, might save you the pain of uninstall/reinstall? Just for an idea

Does the cover all Cydia apps, tweaks, and themes and all that? I'm just curious, I knew you could disable most but didn't know if it covered everything from Cydia.

Still have the same problem. Removed all installs from cydia.

Might need to restore...unless its a hardware problem. Usually it's Cydia stuff that causes these types of issues of hardware failure isn't the culprit.
