Default Can't reset Apple ID for iCloud
I just upgraded to iOS 5.1 on my 3gs. Everything works fine except iCloud and the wireless sync.

I keep getting the error message, "iCloud: User name or password is incorrect."

I can see that the screen doesn't have my recently update Apple ID but when I click edit, the ID is greyed out so I can't correct it.

Please tell me how to fix this nagging and annoying problem.

    Thanks,

    Bob

Your iCloud I'd and password are the same as your iTunes password and username

I know but how do I change what's on the iPhone to reflect my new Apple ID (that works in iTunes online)?

Under settings->store you can change your Apple ID

Thanks, but I didn't want to change my Apple ID. I just wanted to get iCloud working. I finally figured out how to delete the iCloud account and start over with the proper settings. Thanks!
