Hello, I have a problem multiple problems with restoring my phone. I will post pictures to show my errors. And try to explain my problem to the best of my abilities. (Using Windows 7, iPhone 3GS, iTunes 10.5.3, Baseband im not sure)
First of all, I believe my Phone is at 5.0.1 because the "Check for update" button is greyed out and it says it is
up-to-date on the right of it.
I can't check through my phone because I am stuck in recovery mode, or whatever this is:
My phone wont stay off when I plug it into my PC. So idk if I am entering DFU mode correctly. It just Restart and go
into recovery mode.
Besides that when I use snowbreeze to restore a custom 5.0.1 ipsw, it seems to work. Then I get a error message. (Error 2003)
I tried going into redsn0w and clicking "recovery fix", but I get an error message after a bunch of process saying:
"Mounting rootfs as read only..."
"AppleBCMWLAN: :handleIOKitBusyWatchdogTimeout(): Error, no successful firmware download after 60000 ms!!
I tried iReb Fix 1015/recovery loop, and didnt work.
I deleted gs.Apple.com from my etc/host.
I deleted host.umbrella from etc/host.
Now im just left at the recovery mode and I dont know what to do.
I sure im missing alot but if you have a solution to my problem please post it! Thank you for reading.

What's your baseband? Is there a reason you're using a custom fw when your phone is already updated to 5.0.1?

I believe 6.15 because I ran a stock ipsw, is there a way to check it from pc? Because I have T-mobile and i think i need a custom .

Ok so you're not sure if it has the iPad bb installed? Well regardless, go ahead and make a new custom fw. Be sure to put the device in pwned DFU mode. Then try a restore to that custom fw and see if you get an error.

Alright, I just ran something and it said I have 4.1_8B117 installed. I think it is a iPad BB.
Edit: Just tried to put it on a custom 5.0 ipsw and i got (3194) after extract. I will try 5.0.1 now.
Edit 2: Its loading 5.0.1 with this and no error yet:
Also my phone has Apple logo on it is that correct?
Edit 3: I got error (2003), what do I do?

What did you put your phone in pwned DFU with? Also consider trying another USB port

I did both, same results. But went I went to work a co-worker told me it is "bricked". What does that mean?
Edit: Just found a guide on how to unbrick my phone. Will post if it works or not.

It's not bricked. He's exaggerating.
Good luck with what you've found. You never actually told me if you put it in pwned DFU though...

So you got it into pwned DFU with sn0wbreeze and you still get error 2003?

Yes, what should I do?

Try pwned DFU mode with redsn0w instead. Restore to custom fw again and see if you still get 2003.
If its possible you should try a different computer
