Default should jailbreaking be dmca exempt?
i want jailbreaking to be dmca exempt but while ago i was using cydia and i seen that the most popular downloaded package was i********s um does this mean that most jailbreakers pirate apps? i seen a news post on mmi that said the dmca exempt expires soon and we need to convince ppl that jailbreakers dont do this but that seems kinda weird after seeing that stat on cydia i dont think jailbreakers can have it both ways it would be nice but i dunno what does anyone think?

Yes it's true that many jailbreakers pirate apps but pirating apps and jailbreaking are not directly related and jay saurik (cydia) doesn't include the repo for ********** and even warns that they distribute illegal material. Think about it this way. Should windows limit the software you can install because some people pirate movies and music? Should there be a windows store?
