    Default iMessages randomly not working

Sorry for possibly putting this in the wrong forum, please move if needed.

I have an iPhone 4S on iOS5.0.1. It was jailbroken using the CLI tool for Windows on release day with absolutely no problems. Been using it ever since.

A few days ago I saw that Siri was not working. Siri would open and whenever I would ask it a question, the Siri logo would just load and load forever, and then stop, not giving a response. So I uninstalled any Siri mods I had in Cydia (I had the recently launched AssistantExtension or whatever it was, and one more that allowed it Siri to do more stuff, forgot the name), and then it started working again. And still is.

And about the same time, my iMessages stopped working. It would just say "Not Delivered" after I tried sending something. I then tried to send it just as an SMS, but my friend didn't get it either, BUT it did change his our text convo from iMessage to SMS, even though he didn't get a message. So it changed to SMS, since I sent something as SMS, but he didn't get anything. I then turned off iMessage and tried to reactivate it, and it doesn't, it just sits there trying to activate. Whenever I try to use my Apple ID to activate, it just says can't activate, check your connection.

I've tried changing my DNS, and also using the SAMPrefs method, and that doesn't work. Can anyone give me some assistance?

I find iMessage is a pile of poo and doesn't work half the time. Turn it off and forget about it!

Same here, I have since turned iMessages off. It only had about a 50% send rate for me. One observation is that it seemed to work pretty good before I jailbroke my phone.
