Theming UIImages Without Winterboard???
Hey guys,
I have a couple of questions on how to theme without Winterboard, but they are mainly on how to work with UIImages. First I'll give you a little overview on my situation. Currently I am on an iPod touch 4G, iOS 5.0.1 untethered using redsn0w with a Windows 7 computer. I use an Amazing Dreamboard theme, OS7:Revive, but i removed Winterboard because it was slowing my iPod down. I understand how to work with Bundles (com.__.__) and Folders (__.app) without Winterboard but theming UIImages really escapes me.
Here are my questions:
1. What are the names of the different ".artwork" files on my iPod? And what apps does each file affect?
The ones i found were the Shared.artwork, Shared@2x, Shared~iphone, Shared@2x~iphone, MobilePhonePackedImages, Keyboard-Emoji and Keyboard-Emoji@2x. Most of these were in UIkit.framework.
2. How do i extract ".artwork" files and how do i rebuild them (after editing the extracted ".png"s)? Please remember im on iOS 5.0.1. BTW, i prefer not to do stuff like using Xcode because im on Windows 7 and for me to use Xcode i need to use VMWare and crap xD
3. What are the different names for all the ".png"s that are in .artwork files? This questions pretty straight forward but im sure there must be a LOT of names :P
I have search the internet for these answers already and although i did find somethings, most didnt apply to iOS 5 :/ All help is appreciated, im really hoping to get this done in the next 2-3 days so please try to give thorough explanations.
Thanks for your help,
